Android Developer with Kotlin

Looking for an Android Java/Kotlin developer to work on Android applications for farmers, agricultural machines, and Agri robots. Our company has developed one of the best farming apps on Google Play. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

About the role

As a Native Android developer, you will develop and integrate new innovative features in the user interface and user flow on the Android application for farmers.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Integration with external devices (Bluetooth SPP/BLE , WiFi, Sockets, CAN BUS, GPS High precision devices, protocols with IOT sensors).
• Integration with back-end and high-loaded systems (RESTFul API, OAuth 2.0).
• Working with maps (GIS, Polygons, Heatmaps, custom tile providers, GeoJSON). 

Desired Skills: 

• Strong experience in creating Android applications with Kotlin. Java and C++ as plus;
• Good knowledge of JavaCore;
• Understanding of architectural approaches MVVM and MVI;
• Patterns;
• Experience working with the development of Android APP from 1 year;
• Coroutines/RxJava;
• SQLite, room;
• Understanding of ООP, SOLID;
• Understanding of architectural approaches MVVM; 
• Experience working with HTTP, JSON, XML та REST APIs; 
• Experience working with Git (Git Flow);
• Agile / Scrum methodology approach;
